Introducing you: Culture Silat
Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia

is a french association whose purpose is to teach and develop the art of Silat Seni Gayung Fatani in France.

The is known as one the oldest form of Silat of the Malay Peninsula.

In Malaysia, it is led by the Pertubuhan Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia (PSGFM). This organisation, created in 1976 by the late Tuan Haji Anuar bin Haji Abd. Wahab, is one of the four founding members of the Persekutuan Silat Kebangsaan Malaysia ().
The Silat Seni Gayung Fatani was introduced in France by the late Tuan Mohammath Raban in the early 80’s and has spread to Europe from there.

Culture Silat is the official representative organisation on behalf of the Pertubuhan Seni Gayung Fatani Malaysia in France and is under the managment of:

  • : Treasurer and Guru PSGFM France
  • : Secretary and Jurulatih Kanan PSGFM France

Culture Silat is leading 4 clubs throughout Europe:

Culture Silat – CNY Luncheon

On the 4th of February 2017, Culture Silat has been invited by the Malaysian Embassy and the MAF Committee to come to « Le Président » restaurant and present Silat Seni Gayung Fatani to HE Dato’Ibrahim Abdullah, Madame Le Maire of Paris 8th, Jeanne d’Hautserre and Monsieur Le Maire of Paris 6th Jean Paul Le Coq and all the MAF members who joined the lunccheon.

Departure in the morning for Strasbourg, the capital of the Alsace region, the sixth largest city in France. Strasbourg’s historic city centre, the Grande ÃŽle (Grand Island), was classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988, the first time such an honour was placed on an entire city centre. Strasbourg is the seat of several European institutions, such as the Council of Europe and the Eurocorps, as well as the European Parliament and the European Ombudsman of the European Union. Baden-Baden’s hot springs well up from a depth of 2,000 metres, supplying the town’s twelve thermal spas. Among these thermal spas, the modern spa “Caracalla” and the Roman-Irish historical baths “Friedrichsbad” are the best known in the world. The water, which reaches temperatures of up to 68°C, is used to treat a wide range of conditions, including cardiovascular problems, rheumatism, joint complaints, metabolic disorders and respiratory ailments.
